Have you all been seeing all these yummy looking smoothie/acai bowls floating around instagram and Facebook? Have you tried one yet? I've been wanting to try one for some time, so I decided to make my own...and I'm glad I did! It can be eaten as breakfast--or dessert. Seriously, it's amazing. I call this one Berry Blast. Enjoy!
Berry Blast Smoothie Bowl Ingredients: ¾ cup non-dairy milk 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology 1 cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries) ¼ large banana, cut into thick slices a few fresh (or thawed) blackberries 1 tsp ground flaxseed 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds Directions: 1. Place milk, Shakeology, and frozen berries in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Place smoothie in a medium bowl. Top with banana, blackberries, pumpkin seeds and flaxseed; serve immediately. 3. Enjoy!
