In 2011, my husband gifted me my first really nice camera for my birthday; a couple weeks later, a few friends asked me to photograph their families and another friend asked me to photograph her wedding...and I dove headfirst into the world of photography.  But my love for photography started much earlier in life.  

​Ever since elementary school, I've always had a camera in my hands (mostly disposable) snapping photos as a means to preserve special times (which are sometimes the most ordinary times) in life.    Let's be real, life moves fast.  And when you have children, it moves even faster.  I believe photographs are an amazing way to capture special ordinary moments and they're a sweet way relive the moments over and over again.    

Every family I photograph is unique in some way, shape, or form, which is why I'm dedicated to giving my clients customized photography experiences to capture the parts that make their family special.  I don't believe in cookie cutter/'one-size-fits-all' photo sessions.  When you work with me, you will receive a complimentary consultation to ensure your session will fully capture the essence of your family in your photographs.  I've had many clients ask if pets can be included in sessions so let me clear that up now:  YES, pets are family members too.  I even offer solo pet portraits. 

Oh, and let me just share:  I'm a mama to a sweet little boy who is a bundle of energy and a stubborn photo protestor.  Needless to say, you  never have to apologize to me if your kiddo resists --I feel ya & can totally relate...and I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve to make it an enjoyable experience for all.
